As a woman, I operate my driver’s side seatbelt differently than previously. In the past I quickly reached across my chest with my right hand and grabbed the device.
But now my clothes constrict my movement slightly more, and I therefore find it easier to first reach up with my left hand to grasp the seatbelt, then pull it gently halfway across my chest to transfer it to my right hand.
This method appears more graceful.
Update 7 December 2017
For context, I live in a country that drives on the right side of the road.
